What A Blast!

The eve of my birthday was well-spent, and when it was all said and done, your dearest birthday boy here was one really (realllyyy) happy 20 year-old!

During the day, I was at my uncle's new outlet where we had a family feast celebrating both mine and my uncle's birthdays (his falls a day before mine). There were lots (and lots) of food, and knowing yours truly, how can I not be happy when there's lots and lots of food around? Haha!

Had a really great time with my family, but I soon had to take my leave at around 7.30pm.

I was then off to Vivo where I met Michael, and boy oh boy, that was the start of a wild night full of fun!

Mikey brought me for dinner at Thai Accent, this gorgeous restaurant with really gorgeous food, but I'll get to that later. The moment we got there, I thought Mike would wait for one of the service staff to bring us to our table but instead, he just walked right in, which then triggered a "hmmm" moment for me.

True enough, that "hmmm" moment paid off cos' waiting at the table was none other than Chris! Haha! Gosh it's been 2 months(?) since I last saw that boy lah! The last was when we all (together with my ex-colleagues) clubbed at Taboo!

Anyway, after Mikey ordered the food (you know I'm really indecisive when it comes to ordering food) we all started chatting and whatnots lah. The food (okay, here I go ranting away) was absolutely wonderful! The green curry was probably the best I had ever tasted! It wasn't too hot, neither was it too mild. Everything about the curry was just nice. Oh, and the basil chicken was really good too, though I thought the taste of soy sauce was a tad too strong.

The papaya salad was, in comparison to Thai Express', much better. It wasn't too spicy and it was mildly tangy. Really worth it! Oh oh, and speaking of the papaya salad, our dear Mikey bit a chilli seed by mistake and he started to (in his words) vibrate all over. I know, it sounds so wrong! Haha! But I knew what he meant by "vibrating all over" lah, though my mind painted a totally different picture altogether! Haha!

Anyway, after the filling meal, I headed out for a quick puff, and when I got back, I never anticipated the surprise which followed. The staff (like, 80% of them) sang me a birthday song (out loud), and they also brought out the oh-so-sinful walnut cheesecake which Mikey had bought for me!

Gosh it was so embarassing (but so damn sweet) lah!

After we sinfully had the cake, we took our leave and made our way down to the first floor where I then met up with Sha, Trev, Sharon (my ex-colleague, not my beloved bitch Sharon) and Mel who passed me my birthday cake.

We then made our way down to (where else?) Powerhouse where, barely 2 hours from my brithday, I got a tad frustrated. Hur hur hur. Apparently there was some mix-up with the table which I had reserved (2 weeks in advance, mind you) and the bitch who took my table even had the nerve to be rude to Samuel (the door bitch). After some negotiation with Adrian (the other door bitch. And oh, he's so fucking cute lah!) and my dear Georgie (the DJ), we got ourselves a new table at the VIP area.

My frustration, though, got cured the moment the Mr Singapore preview show started. The guys were oookay lah, but there was this one guy, Jerry (yes, I got to talk to him, but we'll leave that for later!) who appealed most to me. Gosh, he's soooo hot, with his semi-ah beng look, his to-die-for chest and oh, his totally fuckable perky ass! Haha!

Soon after, Bala arrived and guess what? He brought me another cake! No, make that 2 cakes! Haha! Never have I once celebrated my birthday with FOUR different types of cakes in one night! Haha!

Tick tock, tick tock... The moment the clock struck midnight, my newly-bought shirt came off, which then revealed what was underneath; my "Birthday Boy" t-shirt! Haha! I'm sure some of you would remember the pink "Birthday Boy" tee I wore for my 19th birthday celebrations. Well this year, it's baby blue! Haha!

Then it came to my birthday presents and boy was I in for the biggest surprise yet!

Bala bought me this really nice t-shirt with the initial M printed on the chest! Haha! Now everyone's gonna know I'm Maman. Then again, who doesn't?! HAHA!

Okay, back to the biggest surprise yet. Mikey, who visited my blog and saw what was on my wishlist, bought me the one thing which has been on my wishlist since my 18th birthday; the Creative Live!Cam Notebook Pro Webcam!!!!!

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Can you see me prancing around like a small boy??? Haha! My god, I was so shocked when I saw it lah! In fact, looking at the webcam which is sitting next to my laptop at this very moment, I'm still in shock! Like, werrrd....

Shit lah, Michael. If it wasn't for the fact that we're such good friends, I swear to god I'd sooooo fall for you right now! It's not everyday that you get to meet people who take notice to the trivial things in your life!

Oh, and speaking of meeting people, remember that semi-ah beng hunk Jerry I mentioned earlier? Well well well... Guess who got to grind that Mr Singapore finalist last night??? Hur hur hur...

Saw him at the bar on the second level of the club. Well, he was practically sitting next to me lah! Haha! I was happily chatting with Zam and Fifi, when unexpectedly, Jerry took notice of the "Birthday Boy" t-shirt I had on!

"Weren't you the one in that sexy sky blue speedos just now?"
"Haha! Yes, that was me. I'm Jerry, by the way. And happy birthday to you...."
"...Maman"
"Oh, happy birthday Maman!"

He then proceeded to give me a birthday peck, not just on the cheeks but, hur hur hur, on my lips as well! Haha! And all that time his girlfriend was just next to him! Haha! Aaaahh... Men... They're so bendable. Well I should know. Like, been there done that, honey!

Hahahahahaha!!!!

The rest of the night was spent getting high (on alcohol), dancing away on the stage and... Well... making out! Heehee!

All in all, I had a fabulous birthday celebration! Well, the celebrations have yet to end. I'm about to get ready to meet my mom our customary birthday dinner, after which, it's down for more celebrations at my aunt's place! Heehee!
