Worth The Click: Part I

I don't know if any of you have actually bothered to check out the cool links I've posted on the sidebar, but I highly recommend that you check out Boy On A Stick And Slither. Those who have read my previous blog would probably recall the few BOASAS strips I posted.

I was introduced to this hilariously wonderful webbie from a friend (though I can't seem to recall who) somewhere around 2 1/2 years ago and since then, it has never once failed to tickle my funnybone.

Okay okay... Here's from their latest untitled strip...

Boy On A Stick: Stuntmen. Daredevils. What's the Difference?
Slither: Stuntmen are sellouts.
Boy On A Stick: And Daredevils aren't motivated by money?
Slither: No! They're motivated by dares... and the Devil.

And here's another example from one of their newer strips, "Other Than"...

Slither: Other than drinking blood, what's so bad about vampires?
Boy On A Stick: Uh... They work for the Devil!
Slither: How can you fault a man for working for a living?

Now do you see why I love the webbie so much? The creator of BOASAS, Steve L. Cloud is a friggin' genius I tell you. Now that he's posted almost 800 strips online (I'm sure there're lots more which have yet to be posted), he should seriously consider introducing a few more characters and turning it into an animated sitcom. I'm sure it'd be an instant hit alongside Famiy Guy, South Park and The Simpsons.

Speaking of Family Guy (which btw, I totally love), Boy On A Stick reminds me a lot of Stewie and Slither reminds me of Brian. Only difference is, Boy On A Stick isn't as aggressive as Stewie, and also, he's not bent on World Domination.

Come to think of it... Stewie reminds me a lot of (Pinky and the) Brain.
